This work was created for a land art festival in 2024. The textile work is a quilt made out of 30 individual Batik drawings on cotton. Everybody on the festival worked with the theme of Vertepijn which translates to a kind of homesickness to something that has or has not yet been. I drew inspirations from mythology and iconography from old tales and stories. Together the illustrations form a story, that is for the viewer itself to collect and imagen.
